Toshio Kaneko is an author, designer and dog-lover. After graduating from fashion school with a degree in apparel design, he apprenticed at the Matsuya Ginza custom menswear department. Kaneko oversaw the development of brands such as Harvard and World Takeo Kikuchi. In 2001, he established Serio Pattern, a company specializing in apparel pattern-making, as well as the Japanese pattern shop Fleur (www.katagami-fleur.com). He the author of two DIY menswear books in his native Japan.
